Stabbing in Myrtle Beach? July 4th @ Myrtle Beach?

Im goin 2 Myrtle Beach on July 2 & stayin thru the 6.
How is the beach down there is it wide narrow steep flat???
And will there be alot of people or not many at all I didnt know b/c some one told me they went to the beach on the 4th there one year & there wasn’t anyone there!!?? I hope it’s not another dead place like Daytona Beach was for us last year!
So will there be big crowds? Nice temps?? hows the water & beach?
Oh & another big important question Where will all the fireworks be? Will they just be on the 4th or all during the week 2?
